JANUARY 2013 PLAYER OF THE MONTH - ASHLEY DRAZKA
- How long have you been playing tennis and what/who got you interested in the sport? I have been playing tennis for 7 years. My mom got me interested in tennis.
- Who is your favorite tennis player and why? Rafael Nadal because I did a research project on tennis and even though I don't know a lot about him, I know about him more than any other tennis player.
- Tell us a little bit about your game. What do you like about it and what have you been working on? I really like forehands and I am working on my serve.
- Do you play any tournaments? If so, what do you like about the competition? No, I do not play tournaments.
- Tell us about your training at ProForm. Training at ProForm is very fun and I have learned a lot.
- Tell us some things about yourself outside of the court. Outside of the court I dance, play piano and play softball.
NOVEMBER 2012 PLAYER OF THE MONTH - JULIA BRAND
1. How long have you been playing tennis and what got you interested in the sport? I've been playing tennis since I was five. I became interested when I saw my older brothers, Stephen and Eric playing and they looked really good.
2. Who is your favorite tennis player and why? My favorite tennis player is Rafael Nadal because he was number 1 in the world for a long time.
3. Tell us little bit about your game. What do you like about it and what have you been working on? I think tennis is really fun. I've been working on a spin serve with Sergio.
4. Do you play tournaments? If so, what do you like about the competition? I've played in a few tournaments. I like playing with different players and seeing other kids' skills.
5. Tell us about your training at ProForm: I take Pre- HP clinics and a private lesson with Sergio. He's an awesome instructor and I always have a great time.
6. Tell us some things about yourself outside of the court: I love spending time with my family and friends. I also like to travel. This winter we're going to the Dominican Republic and I can't wait to play tennis and swim there. My other favorite sports are softball and skiing.

- Who is your favorite tennis player? My favorite player is Roger Federer
- How long have you been playing tennis? I have been playing tennis for nine years.
- Who / What got you interested in playing? My dad got me interested in tennis.
- Out of the 4 major tournaments, which you your favorite? The US Open is my favorite major.
- What is your favorite shot to hit? My favorite shot to hit is the down the line forehand approach.
- Do you play any other sports? No, I play tennis year round.
- What is you your “CD player” (iPod) – favorite bands/artists? Young the Giant, Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Foster the People
- What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie is The Departed.
- Do you play tournaments? If so, what do you do right before your match? I play lots of USTA L1 and L1Bs. Before any match, I listen to music on my iPod to get myself fired up and in “the zone.” Then, I stretch and make sure to drink lots of water (so I don’t get dehydrated during the match).
- Tell us something about yourself that no one would guess. I am singer-songwriter, play guitar, and have three songs on iTunes.

- How long have you been playing tennis? 4th year.
- Who / What got you interested in playing? My daddy gave me a racket to play tennis at 6 year old and I liked it.
- Out of the 4 major tournaments, which is your favorite? Rolland Garros.
- What is your favorite shot to hit? Forehand.
- Do you play any other sports? No.
- What is in your "CD Player" (iPod) - favorite band / artist? Too much favorite. LMFAO.

- Do you play tournaments? If so, what do you do right before your match? Yes, I stretch and eat a banana.

- Who is your favorite tennis player? Although his is not the best, my favorite is Marcus Bagdadis because I like his attitude on the court and the heart he plays with.
- How long have you been playing tennis? Since I was three.
- Who / What got you interested in playing? My dad and my brother.
- Out of the 4 major tournaments, which is your favorite? I like the atmosphere fo the US Open, but I like the classic feel of Wimbledon.
- What is your favorite shot to hit? Inside out forehand.
- Do you play any other sports? Golf and squash.
- What is in your "CD Player" (iPod) - favorite band / artist? Dave Matthews Band.
- What is your favorite moive? Inception.
- Do you play tournaments? If so, what do you do right before your match? Yes, I stretch, lesten to teh same playlist of songs and make sure I have my favorite hat.
- Tell us something about yourself that no one would guess. I had lunch with Joe Torri at his house when he was manager of the Yankees.

- Who is your favorite tennis player? Gael Monfis, because he's fun to watch.
- How long have you been playing tennis? I've been playing since I was 7.
- Who / What got you interested in playing? I started out playing squash, but then I started tennis because of my dad.
- Out of the 4 major tournaments, which is your favorite? The US Open because I get to go there.
- What is your favorite shot to hit? Backhand down the line.
- Do you play any other sports? Hockey, but tennis is my main sport.
- What is in your "CD Player" (iPod) - favorite band / artist? I like to listen to Eminem, Bruno Mars, B.O.B / Anything pop or hip hop / rap.

- Who is your favorite player? Rafael Nadal.
- What do you like best about your favorite player? He has amazing serves.
- If you could win any Grand Slam, which would it be and why? The US Open beacuse I was born here.
- What other sports do you like to play? Soccer.
- What other non-sport activates do you like to do in your spare time? Playing Wii, playing piano.
- Have you recently played any tournaments, if so, do you have any special ritual that you do? No.

- Who is your favorite player? My favorite player is Roger Federer.
- What do you like best about your favorite player? I like his backhand and his powerful forehand.
- If you could win any Grand Slam, which would it be and why? The US Open beacuse New York is my favortie city.
- What other sports do you like to play? GOld, trac & field and basketball.
- What other non-sport activates do you like to do in your spare time? Watch movies and play video games.
- Have you recently played any tournaments, if so, do you have any special ritual that you do? Yes, I only wear one brand of clothing for the games.

- Who is your favorite player? My favorite player is Roger Federer.
- What do you like best about your favorite player? The thing I like most about Roger Federer is how entertaining he is to watch play and how effortless it looks. My favorite shot of his is the tweener.
- If you could win any Grand Slam, which would it be and why? If I could win any Grand Slam I would want to win the Us Open because I love the energy of the crowd and because it’s played in America.
- What other sports do you like to play? I like to play lacrosse, swim, and windsurf
- What other non-sport activates do you like to do in your spare time? I enjoy drawing, cooking, and hanging out with my friends.
- Have you recently played any tournaments, if so, do you have any special ritual that you do? I have played in several USTA tournaments recently and I do not really have any special rituals.
JANUARY 2011 PLAYER OF THE MONTH - MATTHEW ZEITLIN!
- Who is your favorite player? Roger Federer.
- What do you like best about your favorite player? The thing I like best about him is that he stays cool under pressure and manages to win many important matches because of it.
- If you could win any Grand Slam, which would it be and why? I would win Wimbledon because playing the grass is fun and Wimbledon is the most important of the Grand Slams.
- What other sports do you like to play? I play basketball and football
- What other non-sport activates do you like to do in your spare time? I like to read and play chess in my spare time
- Have you recently played any tournaments, if so, do you have any special ritual that you do? I just started playing tournaments recently, so I don’t really have a game plan yet.

- Who is your favorite player? Stanislas Wawrinka
- What do you like best about your favorite player: I like how he works hard and how he doesn’t give up.
- If you could win any Grand Slam, which would it be and why? The US Open because it’s the first (and only) Grand Slam I’ve been to and because I live New York.
- What other sports do you like to play? I like to play all sports, especially soccer and ping-pong.
